The Irish Content Marketing Awards
An important update on our upcoming awards
We recently wrote to all finalists about our date change for the awards and how we moved the dates for the live digital broadcast to the end of November.
However, recently a number of shortlisted finalists got in touch requesting a bit more time to send us their awards collateral, i.e. images and logos etc in support of their entries, which of course we use in the television production process.
Another new date for the awards - The Irish Content Marketing Awards will now take place on December 18th, 2020.
We appreciate that people everywhere are working under very demanding conditions so of course we are happy to move the date further forward.
Is there a trophy in your Christmas Stocking?
The awards will be now be aired on December 18th, as a live digital broadcast hosted by leading business journalist, broadcaster and author, Richard Curran.
We chose this date as for many it will be the last day in the office (virtual or actual) before they break for the festive season and we were thinking how the awards would serve as a nice moment to head into it.
The Content Marketing Community will essentially be gathering for the last day of term, as it were, after an extraordinary year that tested us all. The awards will serve both as a cause for celebration and a pause for reflection as they remind us of the vital contribution the industry makes to keeping the wheels of Ireland’s economy turning and the vital marketing communications chain alive and well.
We promise this is the last date change (forgive us for moving around so much) and that it will all be worthwhile when we do gather and hand out the trophies, marking the end of 2020 and giving us a boost heading in to the New Year.
Once again, we are very thankful for the content marketing community’s support and patience and we look forward to delivering our immersive, fun and engaging broadcast on December 18th next.
This week (commencing November 23rd) we will be in touch with all finalists with news on how to engage with the awards.
Some important features of the digital format
This year's new digital format offers some very exciting and engaging new ways to interact, enjoy and get the most from your involvement with the awards.
Winners will be announced live during the special broadcast and our host, Richard Curran will conduct live interviews with winning entrants. Our team will be writing to you to explain in more detail on how it all works.
To add a new immersive layer, we are also going to be running Our Big Quiz for great prizes which will run live throughout the awards ceremony. Questions will be live on screen and fully interactive.
The digital awards ceremony will be covered in The Irish Times online so the world will know about your success.
Second & Third Place recognition
The standard of entries this year has really impressed the judges and because the results are close, we are announcing 2nd and 3rd places across selected categories.
A special placing logo will be available to recipients for their communications and publicity needs.
We look forward to e-seeing you on December 18th at the awards ceremony.
