Judging Panel

An independent panel of recognised and expert judges, drawn from academia, business and broader related sectors will determine the winners of The Irish Content Marketing Awards.

Our focus is to deliver a balanced judging assessment from industry leaders who will bring their extensive knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise to the judging process ensuring that the winning entries are truly outstanding and worthy of receiving a trophy.

 

The panel is carefully selected to ensure the Awards judging process is fair and objective. The judges are bound by a strict confidentiality agreement and are required to declare any conflict of interest in entries over which they deliberate, in which case that entry will be reallocated. The integrity of this process lies at the very heart of all that we do.

Fionnuala Tohill - Direct, CRM & Content Marketing Manager, Virgin Media

 

Fionnuala Tohill is passionate about communications and content marketing. She has held a number marketing and management positions & in 2013 started in Virgin Media where she’s now the Direct, CRM and Content Marketing Manager.

Michael Lynham - Marketing & Communication Manager, Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace

 

Michael Lynham is the Marketing & Communication Managers at Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace.  He is also a lecturer in Digital Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. 

Barry Walsh - Digital Marketing Manager, Supermac's Ireland & So Hotels Ireland

 

Barry Walsh is the Digital Marketing Manager for Supermac's Ireland. He oversees management and Development of Online Digital Strategy and implementation across Supermac's, Papa John’s and SuperSubs Ireland's Leading and fastest growing QSR group.

Helen Somerville - Marketing Manager, SPAR

 

Helen Somerville is a marketing manager with over 10 years’ experience working with strong Irish brands and leading retail groups. She comes from a multi-disciplined and varied FMCG background and has worked with some of the top brands in the country including Guinness, Baileys and Kelkin.

Dr Tara Rooney - Programme Director MSc Digital Marketing/Lecturer Marketing Strategy, Technological University Dublin

 

Tara is Programme Director for the MSc in Digital Marketing and Lecturer in Strategic Marketing at Technological University Dublin.

Lucy Cawley - Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Kellogg’s Europe

 

Lucy Cawley has spent her entire career working in the rapidly evolving world of digital and content marketing with some of the world's leading blue-chip marketing brands both agency and client side.

Chelsey Killen - Marketing Manager, Freshly Chopped

 

Chelsey is a strong marketing all-rounder, thorough and thoughtful in her actions. She has a sharp creative eye and is constantly sketching ideas that blossom into the campaigns that anchor initiatives and brands in the minds of their audience - large or small, consumer or business.

Lorraine Griffin - Digital & Content Marketing Consultant

Lorraine Griffin is a digital and content marketing expert who has over 20 years experience working for brands like O2, Bank of Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.  She now works with leading brands to help them create and roll out digital and content marketing strategies.

Louise McDonnell - Social Media Author, Educator and Keynote Speaker

Louise McDonnell is the author of Facebook Marketing, The Essential Guide . She has been voted one of the top worldwide 50 Facebook Marketing Bloggers by Feedspot and Springboard.com listed her as one of the top 108 digital marketing experts worth following.

Dr Róisín Vize - Lecturer, Digital Marketing, School of Marketing, Technological University Dublin

Roisin’s research broadly revolves around web retail services and innovation adoption, digital B2B relationships including B2B networks (two-sided & multi-sided). Her research is published in leading peer reviewed academic journals, books and international conferences.

Brendan Maguire - Digital Marketing Lecturer, Dublin Business School

Brendan Maguire is an experienced digital marketing lecturer and consultant with over 15 years experience spanning across all areas of both digital marketing & marketing. 

Sara Kennedy - Lecturer, Social Media & Content Strategy, Masters in Digital Marketing, Trinity College Dublin
